.30" damascus steel barrels, long-lever rotary action with indent safety trigger block. Checkered forend and straight grip buttstock ending with a steel buttplate. Very early Purdey double with the barrels retaining nearly all of the original brown and pattern. The locks and frame showing considerable original casehardened finish with some areas silvering. Beautiful wood and checkering. Bores are like new. In it's original baize linned case with label, number to the gun. This is one of the best early hammer Purdey shotguns I have ever seen. Exceptional.
