Wooden grips bearing two U.S. inspector’s cartouches. A pleasing example in very fine original condition with the barrel showing areas of blue mixing with smooth brown patina. The cylinder showing a crisp scene and sharp inspector’s stampings. The frame has generous amounts of case colors fading and mixing with gray. Beautiful original grips with sharp cartouches that a commenserate with the condition of the gun. Excellent bore. All numbers are matching except the wedge. Very sharp stampings. Very difficult to find in the condition.
