.40-60 caliber, 28″ full octagon barrel and full magazine.  Large (heavy) frame receiver finished blue.  Casehardened lever and hammer.  Plain forend and straight grip buttstock ending with a crescent buttplate.  Excellent bright bore with crisp rifling.   The barrel retaining nearly all of the original barrel blue.  The magazine showing much of the blue turning a pleasing plum.   The frame  showing strong blue mixing with some minor patina. Fine wood with light handling marks from use and nearly all of the original varnish.  Very scarce.  Standard sights.
