.58 centerfire caliber, and converted to cartridge from percussion from 1861 musket by J.& G. NEEDHAM in Trenton NJ in 1869. A very crisp example with fine smooth metal having an even gunmetal appearance with nice stampings. The full length stock shows some handling marks but very fine overall. Excellent mechanically. Good sharp bore and rifling. Accompained by it’s correct bayonet. These are often associated with Fenian Brotherhood and many were used in that event.
