.70 caliber 34″ rifled barrel secured by three brass bands and fitted with a sliding rear elevator sight.  Snider type conversion to cartridge with the breechblock acting as the extract by sliding rearward.   The locked marked “1854”  “SUHL”.  The serial number “1011”  appears on many of the parts.   Full length walnut stock with brass mounts.   A very interesting conversion by a German States amory.  Excellent bright bore.
