.54 caliber 9 1/16″ round barrel,  secured by a large front double band and wooden ramrod located underneath.  Original flintlock and  marked with the maker’s name under the brass pan.    Iron mounts and walnut stock bearing the U.S. inspector’s cartouche.  In very fine untouched original condition with the metal showing a smooth dark patina.  Sharp wood with crisp cartouche and showing some minor handling marks.  Mechanically excellent.
