.22 Long rifle caliber, 24 1/2″ barrel dated “8-28” behind the front sight.  Bolt action receiver with detachable  magazine. Lyman 48 receiver sight.  The receiver marked “U.S./SPRINGFIELD/ARMORY/M1922MI/.22CAL” on the receiver ring.  All parts finished blue.  N.R.A. style pistol grip stock lacking the groove in the forward handguard.  Correctly drilled and tapped for a scope mount and lacking the knurled bolt cocking piece.  In superb little original condition.  Mint bore.
