.65 caliber, 28″ heavy rifled octagon swamped barrel. Flat lock and cock that appears to be a conversion from flintlock. Engraved brass mounts. Full length walnut stock with sliding wooden patchbox and both relief and incised carving. There is a maker’s touchmark in gold on the top of the barrel but is illegible. Overall very nice condition. Good quality.
