Dougall “Lockfast” hinged sliding breech with side lever, hammer’s with bolted safeties. Beautifully engraved bar action locks with sliding barrel lock safety. Double triggers, factory sling swivels. Checkered walnut splinter forend and pistol grip buttstock ending with a unique checkered horn buttplate. LOP: 14 3/8″. Weight: 7lbs 13oz. In superb original condition with barrels retaining all of the blue, mint bores. The receiver, locks and hammers showing 90% plus strong case colors. The figured walnut stock and forend having sharp checkering and the original hand rubbed oil finish. This is one of the best J.D. Dougall rifle I have seen.
