.44-40 caliber, 24″ heavy round barrel and magazine.  Casehardened frame, deluxe checkered forend and straight grip buttstock ending with a crescent buttplate.  The barrel and magazine retain nearly all of the original blue.  The frame, lever, and hammer showing considerable original case colors with the balance slightly fading.  Mint bore, very nice wood and varnish with crisp checkering.
