Left barrel .500/450 No2 rifle, the right barrel 12 gauge. Barrels measure 30″ and a 5 leaf express sight with folding tangent sight is located in the rib. Leaf’s graduate from 100 to 500 yds. Top lever with double underlocking lugs and Greener type third bite. Side locks with rebounding hammers and marked “GRANGE GUN COY”. Checkered splinter forend and pistol grip buttstock ending with a steel buttplate and measuring 14 1/4″ from the front trigger. Comb: 1 1/2″ Heel 2 1/2″. Weight 8 lbs 9 oz. The barrels retain blue mixing with gray and locks are showing areas of case colors with the remainder fading to gray. Excellent bores. The wood showing handling marks from use and the checkering showing some minor wear. The wood appears to be free from damage or repairs. Most likely purchased by a Gvmt or military person stationed in India or East Africa.. circa 1890-1900
