.60 caliber smoothbore, 6″ full octagon twist steel barrel, backaction lock with the maker’s name engraved in the front. German silver mounts, checkered bag grip and captivated ramrod.  In fine original condition with the barrel showing an even brown patina.  The engraved lock and hammer showing gray patina overall.  Nice wood showing some handling marks and wear to the checkering with  a stress crack  emanating from the lock screw on the left side.  Very nice mounts and mechanically excellent.
