.53 caliber, 35″ round barrel secured by three bands with retaining springs.  Single shot bolt action with underhammer percussion ignition.  Full length walnut stock.  In very fine original condition with the barrel showing an even brown patina.  The ring underhammer  has mottled case colors now mottled mixing with gray.  Very nice wood with some handling marks but overall quite crisp.  Mint bore.  Scarce with only around 1500 U.S. and 3000 Russian contract.
