6.5 x54 Mannlicher Schoenauer caliber, 23″ barrel with the take-down feature.  Checkered walnut pistol grip stock ending with a factory steel buttplate with bullet trap.  Detachable rotary magazine.   Sights consist of windage adjustable front, folding express barrel sight and windage and elevation adjustable folding bolt mounted peep.  Factory sling swivels.  In excellent condition with the barrel and receiver retaining most of the original blue.  Very nice wood with what appears to be an old repair on the left side of the stock above the magazine.  Bright bore and crisp rifling.   Accompanied by it’s factory canvas covered luggage case with.  The name “D BAKER-CARR”  stenciled on the lid.  The previous owner contacted Dickson for any information that they could provide and they believe it was the property of  the D’Arcy Baker-Carr family of which was Air Marshall in the mid- 1930’s.  Others were highly decorated Air Force  officers.  Records indicate that this rifle was mfg. 1928.   A Dickson research letter accompanies the rifle.
