.75 caliber (musket bore) 8 1/2″ octagon barrels marked “CORK” on the top flats. Flintlocks with rear steps and roller frizzens. Full length walnut stocks with slab sides and basket weave checkering on the upper portion. Engraved brass mounts with wooden ramrods and horn tips. In very fine condition with much of the soft brown finish on the barrels and an gun metal gray on the locks and works. Nice mellow brass. attractive walnut stocks and the checkering is crips. There are silver and brass escutcheons on the left side of the stocks with the initials “JP” engraved in the center. Very fine overall circa 1795-1810
