.22 rimfire caliber, 24″ barrel with standard open sights with the addition of a Lyman receiver sight.  Single shot bolt action with cocking knob at the rear of the bolt.   Plain walnut stock.   In very fine original condition retaining much of the blue,  excellent wood and varnish.   Good bore showing some darkening.
