.40 2 1/2″ straight caliber, 30″ part octagon barrel, casehardened falling block action. Plain uncheckered walnut forend and pistol grip buttstock ending with a steel buttplate. Beach folding front sight and ladder folding peep rear barrel sight. Tang sight missing. Retaining much barrel blue, the receiver showing mottled case colors mixing with gray. Mint bore. Very fine wood with some minor handling marks and free of damage. Mechanically excellent.
