.67 caliber,  38.5″ barrel secured by pins.  Flintlock with the convex lock marked  “T. KETLAND & CO”.   Brass mounts including the serpentine side plate, trigger guard and buttplate.  Original sling swivels mounted on the trigger guard  front part of the stock.  Full length walnut stock.  Private purchase and possibly sold in America in the late Rev War period or in Britain during the early Napoleonic War era.  In very fine untouched original condition.  Thomas Ketland worked in London from 1767 until 1807 at a variety of premises with several military contracts.
