38 S&W caliber, 3 1/4″ barrel, breaktop hammerless action with grip safety.  Finished nickel with casehardened trigger and blued top latch and triggerguard.   In as new unused original condition retaining all of the finish on all parts.  Accompanied by a research letter from S&W’s historical dept. indicating this is a fourth model.   Shipped August 7, 1902 to W. L. Brown Co., Pittsburgh, Pa.   As good as it gets.
