.38 S&W caliber, 4″ barrel, top break double action.   Nickel finish with casehardened hammer and trigger.  Checkered black composite grips.  A scarce 5th model with only 15.077 total production.  In as new, unused original condition.  Accompanied by a research letter from S&W’s historical dept. indicating the revolver was shipped July 21, 1910 to Norvell Shapleigh Hardware, St. Louis, Mo.   This is the best conditioned example I have had.
