.50-70 caliber, 36″ barrel, casehardened rolling block receiver, with the barrel and mounts polished bright.  Full length walnut forend and straight grip buttstock bearing the U.S. inspector’s cartouche on the left flat.  A very high condition example with the receiver retaining nearly all of the original casehardened finish.  The barrel showing it’s original satin 100 grit polish, the mounts having their mirror polish.  Mint b9re, excellent wood and perfect cartouche.
