.30-06 caliber, 24″ barrel dated  “7-29” at the muzzle.  The star gauge mark ( * ) is also present on the end of the muzzle.   Correct NRA stock lacking the finger grooves on the side and accommodating the Lyman 48 rear receiver sight.   In superb original condition retaining nearly all of the original blue and minty wood.  Perfect bore.  Bolt marked “NS” and the serial number is penciled in.
