.30-06 caliber, 24″ barrel marked “AV” and dated “10/18″ over the bursting bomb”  indicating a period replacment.  Blued receiver.  The stock is {FWA} inspected and marked  RIA.  This is most likely a rifle assembled by the D.C.M. at a later time for civilian sales.  Very fine condition and would make a great shooter.  Mint bore.
