.40-65 caliber, 30″ full octagon No. 3 barrel.  Casehardened frame, plain forend and straight grip buttstock ending with crescent buttplate.  1890 mfg.    In very pleasing example with the barrel retaining much of the blue fading in spots.  The receiver showing silvering case colors with crisp edges.  Very nice bright bore with sharp rifling.  The wood showing only minor handling marks.   Scarce in this larger caliber.
