.44-40 WCF, 24″ full octagon and full magazine with the factory TAKE-DOWN feature.  Plain walnut stocks with crescent buttplate and standard open sights.  In very fine condition with what appears to be an older professional refurbishment.  The barrel and receiver retaining all of the blue with the magazine tube in the white.  The lever is blued and the hammer is in the white.  Very nice wood with only some minor handling marks.  Good bore with some dark areas.   Mechanically sound.   Mfg 1894.  Serial range 54xxx
