The receiver is marked “U.S. PROPERTY” and marked “S” (Savage) indicating it was part of the U.S. Gvnmt Lend Lease program during WWII. In very high original condition retaining nearly all of the blue with excellent stamps. The wood is showing only minor storage marks and the bore is mint. Dated 1942.
