.45 a.c.p. caliber, parkerized finish overall.   Marked UNITED STATES PROPERTY  on the right side of the frame.  Brown checkered plastic grips,  various proofs on the metal parts.  In near new, unissued original condition retaining all of the parkerized  finish, mint bore and grips.   Mfg. 1943
