.40-50 Sharps straight caliber, 30″ full octagon barrel, casehardened action with octagon top.  Plain forend and buttstock ending with a casehardened steel sporting buttplate.  Sights consist of a Beech folding front and ladder sporting rear.  The barrel retains considerable original blue, the frame with excellent mottled case colors.  Very nice bore.  Beautiful wood and varnish with only minor handing marks.   Weight 8 1/2 lbs.
