.50 caliber, 20″ barrel, tip up action with center hammer.  Walnut buttstock bearing two U.S. inspector’s cartouches.  The barrel showing gray/brown patina.  The receiver has a mottled gray faded casehardened appearance with sharp stamps.  Nice wood and very crisp cartouche’s.   Very strong, bright bore with sharp rifling.
