.50-70 caliber, 36″ round barrel secured by two round band with retaining springs.  Casehardened rolling block action dated “1872”.  Walnut forend and buttstock bearing the “ESA” cartouche on left side.   In very fine original condition the barrel showing much of the polish, strong case colors remaining on the frame and a mint bore.  Excellent wood.
